SOPRANO

Soprano Sharon Eisert continues to thrill audiences with her recent operatic performances of Olympia, Zerlina, and Musetta. David Shengold of Opera News stated of Sharon’s performance in Fra Diavolo: “Sharon Eisert's Zerline also looked camera-ready, like a wholesome '40s starlet. Her soprano is fresh and moves prettily.”

Sharon was named a winner at the Classical Singer 2010 Convention AFE Awards and that same season she performed the stunning contemporary collection by Libby Larson The Last Words of the Wives of King Henry VIII with Ling Hsiao at the piano.

Drawing from a rich background of both opera and musical theater, Sharon’s favorite musical theater roles include Marian in The Music Man, Cunegonde in Candide, and Lola in the soap opera parody Gallantry.

Ms. Eisert received her Bachelor of Music degree from Eastman School of Music and her Master of Arts degree from Queens College. She has performed with Opera Colorado’s Young Artist Outreach Ensemble, The Seagle Music Colony, and the Westchester Summer Vocal Institute. A native of Austin, Texas, Sharon now resides in New York City.
